This will probably be my outfit on Christmas Day, or the evening of the 23rd when I will actually be celebrating Christmas with my family and exchanging presents.
I’m usually freezing in Holland (after becoming so used to the tropical Singapore weather) so my outfit needs to have several layers and be warm and comfortable.
These wide legged pants with cream top and blazer will be just that!
I will probably wear this with nice long (warm) black boots underneath! On the 25th I will be in Austria skiing and I have no idea yet if we will do anything special in terms of diner etc. All I am hoping now is that there will be lots of snow so my son can learn how to ski!
These pictures were taken in Fort Canning Park in Singapore recently by local photographer Leowell Gonzalez. Leowell liked the concept of my site and wondered if I would be interested to do a photoshoot with him. Of course I said yes! Pictures on the street are a whole lot more interesting than the usual pictures that I often take on my balcony and it is always fun to see photographers at work. Thank you so much Leowell!
I brought several outfits to this photoshoot, and here is a slight variation of the outfit above. As you know I’m all in red, black and white mode at the moment, so most outfits are mixed with these colors. I will show you some more outfits of this photo shoot over the coming weeks.
Pants: Zara
Off white top: Zara
Blazer: Zara
Striped top: Local brand, tba
Hats: Zara
Shoes: Kenneth Cole
What will you be wearing this Christmas?

I’m sure they’ll keep me warm. It’s not that cold now and I look forward to wearing them! Wishing you great holidays!
Those trousers are really great. I’m so into red pants at the moment! I like all the variations and I do hope you stay warm this Christmas Eve. It’s always an issue for me too!
No idea what I’m going to wear Christmas Eve. Christmas day is usually very casual but I like to get a bit dressed up for the evening before. We go to church and everything so it needs to be something warm as well. I guess I’ll figure it out that afternoon!
Have a great vacation!
I love your holiday outfit AND your photo shoot. You can’t go wrong with red, white and black.
Thanks. Agreed and I will be wearing variations of that combo pretty much for the next 3 weeks!
What wonderful photos and what a great outfit.
Thank you Debbi. Feel free to add yours as well!

Hi Nicole, yes have done. You look absolutely gorgeous!
Wow! You look fantastic! Those slacks are gorgeous. They fit you perfectly. Your holiday plans sound like perfection to me.
Have a wonderful time in Holland. xo
Thanks. Yes those pants fit well and are very comfortable also. Certainly in cold weather.
OMG! You look so amazing! I LOVE this outfit and the photos are just stunning! Wishing you a wonderful Christmas with your family!
Thanks Jeannie. Wishing you the same!
Very cool! I love both looks, and the hats are marvelous. You also have a wonderful talent for posing very artfully! Thanks for linking up to Visible Monday : >
Thanks Patti. It’s fun to experiment with poses, but I can assure you that most photos that come out (with ridiculous poses) look rather silly. Just as long as a few good images come out 🙂
Sylvia, you do have an amazing international full schedule for the holidays!
Love the wide pant and the second outfit gets my vote; I think its more balance and it gives you a chic combination of shapes and styles.
Enjoy your week, your time with your family and all of your adventures,
Thanks Ofelia. Will keep you posted through Facebook!
How cool that a local photograher wanted to take your picture! I love the park setting and especially the little yellow elephant in the background. I do hope that they come to the USA. 🙂
Your outfits are lovely. Those red pants fit so well and the cream blazer is awesome but it is the hats that make these looks “you”. That black hat is my favorite.
Have a wonderful holiday. Be careful on the slopes. Post a picture of your ski outfit too.
Thanks. Will try to, although I don’t think it will be that fashionable!
