Do you have a pair of white jeans in your closet. If not, you might want to take a look at these recommendations for the best white jeans. If you already do, what do you usually wear with them? If you want to give your white jeans a new look, adding a different top will give you an instant update. Let’s look at the best tops to wear with white jeans, no matter what the season.
First a great pair of white jeans
If you don’t already have a pair, or you want to treat yourself to a new pair, the NYDJ white jeans (below) have lift-tuck technology to smooth the tummy and lift the rear.

A great color palette to go with your white jeans is to stick to white and black. It’s also easy to switch up your look by adding a pop of color with your shoes and handbag.
Beth @styleatacertainage above (read her style interview here) shows how you can put together a monochrome outfit with your white jeans.
She is wearing a tweed jacket from Mango, top, jeans and slingback pumps from Ann Taylor, and bag from Kurt Geiger London. Check out this similar belt and earrings to complete the look.

t-shirts
Now that you have your white jeans, what tops should you wear with them? You could choose print or plain t-shirts.
If you want to hide a little bit of a belly, then a print can be great to disguise any lumps or bumps. Choose an abstract, graphic print for a modern look.
Or, you could opt for a wrap style t-shirt, which will be flattering for all figures. The v-neck of the Loveappella wrap top (below) will create flattering vertical lines, while the ruching will help to hide a tummy.
White jeans also lend themselves to a nautical inspired look. A classic striped t-shirt will look good if you are a pear shape, as the stripes across your top half will help to balance your hips and thighs.

Fonda @savvysouthernchic wears her white jeans with soft pastels and neutrals. Again, this is a look which would be great for pear shapes, as the ruffles on the shoulder add width, which balances wider hips and thighs, creating a flattering silhouette.
Wearing colors that are similar top-to-toe can also be flattering if you are petite, because you don’t have a visual “break” across your mid section, helping to create vertical lines and make you look taller.

Shirts and blouses
Of course, you don’t have to stick to t-shirts with your jeans. You could wear a shirt or blouse. You could create an all-white outfit, or choose to add a bright color or print.
An all-white outfit is an on-trend look at the moment, and creates long, vertical lines. If you want to hide a belly or look taller, then you could add a long cardigan, or sleeveless cardigan in a different color over your white top and jeans.
If you have a longer torso in comparison to your legs, a good idea is to good a shorter style top, like the blue COS shirt (below). Or, to hide a tummy, you could choose a print shirt, and wear it over your jeans rather than tucking in.

sweaters and cardigans
If it’s cool where you are, you’ll want a cozy sweater or cardigan. If you want to add a cover-up without too much warmth, you could wear a ruana or duster jacket over your jeans. A striped sweater will work if you love a preppy style.

A classic denim shirt or a striped tee can be dressed up or down, while a flowy blouse adds a feminine touch. For a pop of color, a bright tank or a printed blouse works wonders. My personal inspiration is to experiment with different textures and layering techniques to create unique and stylish looks year round.
