Beautiful selections. But at 49 with 20 years of Raynaud’s disease and deep worsening arthritic pain – I’m so limited. Extremely limited. Sighhhhhhh
Thank you for sharing these lovely options! I remained comfortable in heels, even after entering my fourth decade. However I fell three months ago while hiking a steep, rocky descent and fractured my right fibula. Everything is healing nicely but I won’t be ready for heels this holiday season. These choices are so stylish I may never return to heels again!

Great post. Love all the examples you have shown. My problem is flat feet and a low instep. Makes my feet look very big and strange. But sometimes I can find low heeled shoes that look good.

This is a terrific article. BRAVA!!! So generous with fantastic examples. I am in my 70s and can no longer wear high heels. I do wear low ones like you show. But I have to say, I love the flats. I am still (age approprately) style conscious and this article showed me that I am on point with my shoes! Thanks for giving such detail and wonderful variety.
Great to read that this was useful!
You absolutely can!
