After a week of relaxation and detox (for detox results be sure to read my final article on my detox retreat in Thailand), I felt the need to be colourful!

So I thought why not combine this season’s major trends into a one outfit? Using 3 blocks of colour this outfit turns quite graphical.

If I had had some great yellow watch or bangle I may have added it as well and give it a true Mondriaan feel!

colorblocking, graphical and colorful

The silhouette makes it quite ladylike and the top is certainly bright enough to fit the brights trend. However, most of all I wore this outfit because it’s fun and makes me happy!

Alldressedup and zara outfit

With the outfit reasonably simple I like to add statement jewellery. My Bruno Nimaber watch always succeeds in adding extra style and the white band breaks the otherwise too 2 colored outfit.

The wide cuff adds a litte extra character. I even added one of Heels Diva’s shoe accessories as as a brooch for more fun.

The white bag is nothing special, but I liked adding a white bag for a more graphical feel to the outfit and it’s certainly practical!

Red and blue outfit

I also tucked my top in at the front and left it open at the back. Although the top looks quite simple from the front it has a lot happening at the back.

It certainly gives the back of the outfit a lot more character and draws attention away from my rather flat bottom.
