Last week I showed you some images and outfits of the first part of my trip to Australia. Today let’s have a look at what further adventures awaited me.
After Brisbane we travelled inland towards Tenterfield to discover Bald Rock National Park. Its main feature is Bald Rock, which is a large granite outcrop rising about 200 metres above the surrounding landscape. Measuring about 750 metres long and 500 metres wide this is the largest granite monolith in Australia. And it’s pretty impressive too.
You can do a steep climb to the top which is quite exhausting but very rewarding in terms of views!
My trusted sunhat went with me everywhere I went!
Top: Marios, Shorts: Zara, shoes: Marc O’Polo.
In the park itself you are most likely to spot a wallaby.
Found in the middle of nowhere: a constellation of bicycles.
Our final stop for this trip was Byron Bay. A town known for its surf culture, yoga and relaxed atmosphere.
It was a bit cooler in Byron Bay so a good opportunity to wear some new clothes from Stella Carakasi’s resort collection (Enter the coupon code 40PLUS15-3 for an extra 15% off all orders and receive free shipping in the US!).
Asymmetrical top Stella Carakasi, necklace Dogstar Clothing, pants Zara, shoes Marc O’Polo.
Short jacket: Stella Carakasi, necklace Dogstar Clothing, pants Zara, shoes Marc O’Polo.
Another outfit from Dogstar clothing that I purchased in Brisbane and my trusted Fly London shoes. I can walk in these shoes the whole day and because they have height they look good with capris and skirts too!

Travelling the countryside, in style of course!
Silk top Parker (thrifted), denim skirt Zara (old), necklace Dogstar Clothing, shoes Fly London.
It was a refreshing and relaxing trip. I’m back in full-spead-ahead working mode again as I’ve got a new course to launch soon! You watched my first video and signed up for all my free accessories and silhouette tips, did you?

I applaud you. To look so stylish and still be able to walk for miles, that is not easy. And you resisted the temptation to go with the local dress code. You have come a long way compared to your way of styling when you lived in Australia. I still love the black top of Dogstar with the white stripes. Such an unusual piece. And I like your modern jewellery. I can learn a lot from you in that field.
Gorgeous photos of Australia. I would love to go there some day! All of your outfits were so stylish and unique no matter what activity you were doing. I especially admired the blue Stella top and jacket and the Dogstar necklaces.
Australia has a lot more to offer than this. We travelled it extensively so can definitely recommend it! The Dogstar necklaces were a great find. They were on sale (which is why I bought a few) and I love how lightweight and original they all are!
Hi Sylvia
You are having fun in Australia
beautiful scenery and your outfits
lovely. Untill now i am enjoying everything
Thanks Eugenie. Fond memories…
The outfit in front of the elevator is my favorite
Thanks Nicole. Yes it’s so simple, yet so effective…
Love that hat!
Bought at the first petrol station I came across. Isn’t that funny?
As usual Sylvia, I love them all. You look so comfortable, relaxed and ‘put together’ in all your outfits. There is a great deal of variety as well and you easily move from one outfit to another effortlessly, which I envy!
Great style and lovely looks; your looking great Sylvia.
Thanks Aileen!
Wow! Looking very stylish lady! I’m sure you were the best dressed gal there.
I LOVE the scenic photos!
The bikes on the tree were something. Ha! Must have been that ever elusive tree fairy. In Australia when you lose a tooth you get a bike in a tree.
Looks like you had a wonderful trip.
bisous
Suzanne
Well, I did notice how casual Australia still is. And it felt good to be among the better dressed!
Haha yes those bikes were quite something. I like your story! I wonder what others come up with….
My fav is you in the white pants and 3/4 coat. I have an Eileen Fisher 3/4 coat in gray and I think I will wear it with my gray tee and white jeans! Thanks for the inspiration. Always love reading the posts!
Yes that’s a very comfortable outfit. And that coat and the short coat is fab. It’s wrinkly material which gives the coats a special look and it’s so perfect for holidays! (no ironing required!) Great to read you enjoyed the post.
