As you know I have embraced pastel colors this summer although I often combine them with a brighter color for additional contrast and color.
Red is often my bright of choice and works very well with the green here too.
Here are 2 options with my new cover look top from Stella Carakasi.
This top looks great when worn on its own especially when you combine it when belly tucking leggings like these second nature capri leggings. I like these leggings so much that I now have them in several colors. I use them for all kinds of outfits from super casual to casual chic and even for sports.
I usually wear an S for bottoms at Stella Carakasi but these arrived in XS and they fit even better. The rise of the pants is still high and the slightly tighter fit means that my tummy and upper legs look even more streamlined.
For a more layered look I combined it with the refreshed cropped sweater (similar here). This item felt a bit like a wildcard for me as I wasn’t sure hot to wear it, but I absolutely love this look.
It’s perfect to cover up your upper arms, provide some extra warmth and to make the overall look a bit different and more interesting.
Also I like to mention a mirror I bought recently. As my eyes have deteriorated quite badly over the last few years, I have found it increasingly difficult to apply eye makeup or maintain my eyebrows. This mirror makes that so much easier!
I bought the mini mirror which magnifies 10 times! Now I can finally see those hairs on my face and remove them. It seems like a lot of money to spend on s simple mirror, but the high magnification and automatic very bright light makes all the difference and it will save me a few trips to the beautician.
You can buy this one at Macys, Nordstrom or Cult Beauty.
I also really liked the bigger version which is great for applying makeup. Macys, Cult Beauty or Nordstrom.
Prices vary at each of these retailers so you may like to check which of these currently has the cheapest rates.

I like that wild card of yours. The top reminds me of Sarah Pacini, a favourite brand of me like Stella is yours. Nice outfit with a lovely pop of colour.
I love the cropped sweater. I’ve been looking for something else to wear over summer dresses that are bare or low on top, and this is perfect. I always just pass these dresses by when shopping, even if I love the cut and fabric. Beautiful asymmetrical top, too.
you look fabulous. I love the pop of red. In my recent post, I’ve used a sleeveless vest for layering and I show it with three outfits.

I love how you combined the light green with red! Wow, what a fun combo! We layer in these parts a lot – that little shrug topper you have on over the tunic is so fun and chic! Great outfit!

I couldn’t wear it but it looks great on you. I like the silvery green color, especially with the red. No layering at all in the summer here. In fact, I just bought shorts to wear in public for the first time in 15 years because even capri length pants or tights are too hot. It’s hard to look good in high humidity and 100F heat!
