After the fabulous blogger meetup in Vancouver my husband and 13 year old son joined me to start our road trip across parts of Canada and the USA.

For the Canada part, the plan was to drive to Calgary via Roger’s pass and stop whenever we felt like it.

Driving this road is an attraction in itself as you encounter some spectacular views along the way.

This outfit from Stella Carakasi was a favorite while travelling. Super comfortable and sytlish at the same time! (top and leggings) The bag can be worn as a tote and as a backpack and is really practical.

We did not spot many bears along the way but did see this one along the side of the road. It then bravely proceeded to cross the highway!

While on our way to Calgary we made a slight detour towards Jasper and I’m so glad we did. There are various view points and tracks on the way there and they offer the most spectacular views.  just have a look at how clear the water is and how perfect the reflection. The colors were precisely as pictured too and I did not edit these photos at all.

After a lot of driving it’s wonderful to relax in one of the hot springs!

Our last stop in Canada was the city of Calgary where we walked around town for a day and caught the top ice hockey youth teams in a match!

We had a wonderful time in Canada where the nature is truly spectacular. Next stop USA!

Have you visited British Columbia and Alberta in Canada? Which places did you most enjoy?
