I love it when I run into a designer that is refreshing and new which is what happened when I discovered Hue Tran in a shop in the Netherlands. This silk dress is perfect for Singapore as it’s all natural and very breezy. As usual everything is on sale when I’m in Holland in summer so that was a no brainer. I usually wear it as a dress but since I now have the dresses over pants bug, it is worn over trousers here. Also purely for practical reasons as I was going to watch some outdoor shows and artworks in Singapore, where I would have to sit on benches or a small chair that I brought. If you want to read more about what I saw, check out my post on the Singaore Night Voyage Festival.
The pants with cords in the front was another bargain I picked up in Amsterdam, Holland, at one of their chain stores Claudia Strater.
As can be seen in the pictures below. I also took a cardigan which I think looks perfect with this outfit. Cardigans are essential in Singapore as it can be absolutely freezing indoors due to air conditioning. I love that layered look and wish I got to do it more often here.
Dress: Hue Tran
Trousers: Claudia Strater
Shoes: From Amsterdam, brand unknown
Watch: Claudia Schaefer
Necklace: market in China
Cardigan: Zara
