Sunday style: the Ailey Spirit Gala - choose your favorite from these 10 looks!

1. Colorful

Pamela Zilly looks gorgeous in a multicolored dress.

2. Simple & sweet

Lovely combination of pink and white with gorgeous shoes.

3. Hip black and white

A unique black and white ensemble accessorized with red.

4. Suited

I love the color of this suit and the way this lady combined it with a textured bag and red top.

5. Lace dress

A very elegant dress paired with pumps makes for a great summer look.

6. The little black dress

You can never really go far wrong with a little black dress.

7. Orange printed jacket

This is Joan Weill and the colors of this fabulous party jacket suit her so well.

8. Embracing color

I love how this family embraces color. The woman in the red and black dress looks especially fabulous.

9. Black mini

The oversized top half of this dress makes it very unusual and interesting. She certainly has the legs to carry this look.

10. Arty chic

This is a more artistic look enhanced by the oversized necklace.

I love the diversity of all these looks and like them all, but the top look by Pamela Zilly is my personal favorite as I love the colors and print of that dress which suit this woman perfectly.

I love the arty chic outfit, the first dress and the lace dress – all gorgeous however. I do feel slightly jealous of being able to go somewhere (anywhere) wearing just a dress – not really possible in Glasgow, for this summer we generally also need brolly, raincoat, maybe a scarf, sometimes a woolly-pully, maybe suncream, sunglasses, I saw 2 wee ladies the other day sitting having a coffee outside and both wearing fingerless mitts… we get all sorts of weather all in one day, so I’d love to have the simplicity of looking so put together and staying like that

These are great looks! I love the cool outfit in black and white from No. 3. This is really not an every day look but still ladylike. Of course, the lady in red looks also gorgeous but I have seen this before. I also admire Joan Weill’s look since she manages to look very interesting with a lot of color.

I too love the Pamela Zilly look but that #3 outfit is just amazing. BTW the woman in #8 (holding the child’s hand) is the actress Lorraine Toussaint.
