As most of you know I have been in The Netherlands for 4 weeks now. I love going back there every year as it is so different from Singapore. I love the Netherlands in the summer and especially my newly adopted home town Haarlem and the city of Amsterdam which is close by.
This year I had the delight to live in my own house and even celebrated my birthday there.
Here are a few glimpses of what it is like.
Just as in my dressing style I like to have a lot of white. It serves as the perfect base for all the colors I like to add.
Like the flowers I received from my husband for my birthday!
Yes, I really do have a bright lime green wall in the house.
And I have a lot of colorful paintings and 8 different colored chairs!
There is no particular theme to the house but I love the imagery of butterflies. They represent beauty and freedom to me.
And this is what I’m trying to achieve here.
The outfit is similar to what you have seen before but now the white basics are combined with the blue/green asymmetrical top.

Sylvia, your home is beautiful and happy belated birthday to you. Despite my love of a black wardrobe, my home is very white:) My walls are all white and along with the non carpeted flooring. I am more neutral than you but I do have statement pieces of furniture featuring green and purple!! There are also hints of red in my kitchen. So I do quite love and enjoy colour in my world… just not in my wardrobe 🙂 Your outfit is gorgeous by the way.

My home is decorated in soft colours with white furniture. I add colour in my garden with pink and purple flowers.
