The type of outfit you choose will obviously depend on what you’re doing and how cold and rainy it is. Let’s take a look at some options.

If it’s raining, you will probably have a coat or jacket on top of your top, so you can really wear anything underneath. Opt for a t-shirt, a lightweight shirt or a sweater depending on the weather.

Coats and jackets
It goes without saying that you’ll need a coat on a rainy day, but your choice will depend on how heavy the rain is, as well as whether you simply need to stay dry, or whether you need to stay warm AND dry.

Rainy day outfits: Pants

Dresses and skirts

Generally, boots are the right choice for a rainy day. You could choose long or short rainboots or a pair of leather or faux leather boots. If you want a more athletic option you could look for a pair of waterproof sneakers.
