Is it ok to like a garment better from the back? Not really. It’s all about your face right? That is where the focus should be and what you want to highlight. But well, every now and then you just have a garment that you just like better from the back, like this dress I bought together with Greetje in Amsterdam.
Garments need to look good from both the front AND the back of course. Something you really should not overlook when you are doing your shopping. With this dress you can bring the back more into the front by featuring the purple of the inbuilt elastic, in the front as well. I used my versatile tube necklace and also had a big bag in a similar color.
I was together with Anja who is in town for a few weeks. She was her own colorful, floral self while I stayed true to my preferred style which focuses more on color blocking and graphics. We opted for the Gardens by the Bay location again which can be quite photogenic with views of Marina Bay Sands in the background and its large super trees.
It was a super hot day and even though I may look comfortably cool on this pictures, I was sweltering. The difference with my recent arctic experience could not be bigger.
Here is the Singapore flyer in the background. One of tourist attractions of Singapore where you can get a good view of the whole city. Also note how you see every curve and bubble of my body in this dress? Something you really need to take into account when wearing any kind of jersey or knits.
Of course I will show you Anja’s pictures as well. But you’ll just have to be a bit more patient and wait for them. I’ve already photographed her in a variety of outfits and it will be a feast of floral bliss. Be sure to subscribe through RSS, Bloglovin or newsletter so you will not miss it!
Do you have outfits that look better from the back?
