Oh New York… How I miss you!

Even though I’m happy to be back in Singapore again with my family (even though the terrible haze of the last month was no fun at all) I have such fond memories of my time in New York and I miss the buzz and excitement.

In my last week there, dutch streetstyle photographer Misja B joined me and we spent some lovely time visiting the Museum of Modern Art and wandering the streets of New York. My energy levels had suffered a bit though. After travelling and meeting new people non-stop my body required more rest.

Therefore in my last few days, my dressing was all about being comfortable.

Attentive readers will have spotted the Fly London wedges again. I wanted to wear them everywhere these last few days so was basically looking for outfits that suited them.

An Evening Out In New York | 40plusstyle.com

As had become the coincidental custom for my meetups with Denton and his wife Teresa, our outfits were perfectly coordinated again which makes for some lovely photographs.

I took the opportunity to wear my newly thrifted silk pants(as mentioned in my article on the best consignment shops of New York) together with a new top from Stella Carakasi. An older necklace by COS and a new clutch from Cleo & Patek completed the look.

Our diner spot for the evening was the Lincoln Center Theater, a terrific spot in New York where we had the most delicious meal.

Teresa looked terrific in her designer dress.
