It has been a while ago since I wrote about my desire to wear more golden accessories. Although I have worn gold on occasion I still find more opportunities to wear statement jewelry or silver pieces. Not so today!
J S Noor wanted me to review these lovely earrings and I saw that as the perfect opportunity to renew my relationship with golden jewellery again. They are made of 14 Karat gold and have a deep yellow matte finish with intimate texturing. They are simple and elegant and happen to fit perfectly with my leaf necklace. I’m really pleased with how they look on me.

You don’t often see me anymore with earrings but as you can tell they still fit perfectly. Funny how that happens sometimes. I used to wear earrings every single day when I was younger and felt naked without them. Perhaps these earrings can just get me back into wearing earrings more often again!
I’m also wearing a new skirt and top.
The skirt from Zara has already become a huge wardrobe favorite and I have worn it on various occasions already. It’s longer than my other skirts and works perfectly with tops tucked in to create a nice silhouette. The skirt has proven to be very versatile so expect more combinations with it coming soon.
The leaf necklace is from Unika Designers.
The blouse is from Cos and is another great find. I love the geometrical feel of the top and the see-through element. Today I wear it with a nude singlet underneath but I also like to wear it with black accessories and underwear as I did for my visit to Audi Fashion week.
The golden clutch was bought at the same shop as the necklace and is one of the few clutches I own. I hardly ever manage to fit everything I want to take in a small bag, but it is perfect for this outfit.
Since I have not yet found the perfect wide pants, I make do with these camel pants from Zara (old). It looks perfect with the golden accessories and the animal print belt and shoes.
I actually came up with another (more colorful) great outfit that suited these earrings perfectly but I will leave that for another day.

Sylvia these are really stunning outfits. As you know I am not one for colour and these more neutral ensembles are just breathtaking. The Cos top is just such a beautiful piece and it looks lovely layered over white or black. And I am not suprised the skirt is a new favourite! Great shape and weight! Zara have been doing some wonderful skirts recently.

The earrings are gorgeous. You look very pretty with earrings and to my surprise gold is perfect for you.

Not a big fan of the skirt, but you probably already suspected that. I know others (and you yourself) disagree, so I guess it’s just me then, hahaha…
As my skin has a warm undertone, gold is actually better for me. But I feel silver looks good too, so I just wear both according to mood. I’m already pleased you like part of my outfit Anja! We will never agree on clothes and that is perfectly fine 🙂

Perfect. Both outfits. I really like gold for myself. These pieces look great on you too. Very pretty earrings. Big Want from me, but I would need to alter them as I need some shield at the top to cover up the large holes in my earlobes.
Like your hair style as well. The benefit of longer earrings with this hair style is, you can actually see them.

Yes an a-line for this kind of skirt is important. It needs to fit snug on the waist and hips. I know it’s not for everyone but I’m enjoying the new silhouette.
