Yes, your shoes can be both comfortable AND chic! – Introducing my new asymmetrical booties from Antelope Shoes

Yes! Your shoes can be both comfortable AND chic!

Many of you, including me, want comfortable shoes. But not just any comfortable shoes, but shoes that are both comfortable AND stylish. I’m not yet at the point where I want to compromise on style and luckily shoe brands are listening.

One such shoe brand that I have featured before is Antelope Shoes.  Their versatile styles, new innovative techniques and exciting details make for a great shoe collection. They make unique stylish, yet comfortable shoes that you can walk in for miles.

Antelope invited me to pick my favorite shoes from their latest fall / winter collection and show them to you in an outfit. I chose the Ankle boots gold style from their website.

I’m sure it comes as no surprise to those that know me that I chose these unique asymmetrical booties.

They are perfect to combine with both pants and skirts (or dresses).

Here is a skirt look.  In order to highlight the asymmetrical aspect of the shoes, I combined it with both a skirt and top that have asymmetrical details as well.

And here are the shoes with pants. I think they look fabulous with cropped pants as it highlights the unique details of these shoes. For a winter look I would just wear these with nude sheer knee-high tights and a jacket on top for warmth. In fact, this outfit will travel with me for my trip to (cold) Europe in 2 weeks.

It’s so much fun to wear shoes that look different from all angles.

Love these outfits. I am just about getting used to chunky shoes / shooties. Footwear really takes me a long time to like (other than pumps with a pointy toe…). Next week on my blog I am showing mine. Your trousers are nice, they have an elegant shine to them. And the top is fab. But I can tell you that these clothes won’t do you much good in cold Europe. The shoes OK, but the rest…no.. (And knee high tights? How about opaque tights all the way?)

Thanks Greetje. I think you underestimate my layering skills for winter….

Beautiful looks Sylvia! I saw those booties in a sale notice and was very tempted to buy them. I have a pair of Antelope shoes and a pair of their boots. Very comfortable! I’m wearing shearling inner soles in those boots to keep out the winter cold.

How fun that you already knew the booties! Good idea about the shearling soles.
