You already know this skirt as it was part of my winter capsule wardrobe. Here is how I wore it in several ways for winter.
However, the skirt is perfect for summer too and here is a summer version of the skirt.
Although I’m not a fan of synthetics I can tolerate them better as skirts than in any other item.
When I saw this skirt at a super affordable price at Zara, I could not resist it.
I love that it’s fitted on top, yet has a wide asymmetrical element at the bottom.
Here is how I recently wore it with my see-through checkered blouse from Cos, previously seen here and here.
I semi-tucked the blouse to accentuate the shape of the skirt and my waist more and I also liked how it then follows the shape of the skirt.
The red accessories provide the necessary touches of color.
Not all your items are only good for summer or only for winter. Many of them are perfectly suited to both!
Skirt: Zara
Blouse: Cos
Shoes: ToBe
Necklace: Bloesem
Do you like this skirt better as a summer or as a winter skirt?

I loved how you showed the sheer top with different textures & fabrics-easy to dress up or down
I love it.

I really love seeing things like the faux leather skirt being worn in the summer time as well . Because no I have to admit I was an old fashioned type. I think summer tops should be worn in the summer as faux leather clothing should be worn in winter but this what makes a fashion statement . Becoming Daring !!!!!
gorgeous outfit! the clear design of blouse and skirt are fab – your red “seasoning” is a great addition!
i take some blouses and skirts from summer into winter too – the skirts usually with a warm underskirt/petticoat. winters are cold here fare east…..
🙂
xx
What a great look! I especially love the pops of red.

Almost all my “winter” tops are my summer tops — I just add jackets and scarves in the winter.
Way to go Lisa!
Great skirt and the mix with red is perfect! love this outfit, Rita

Thanks Rita. A splice of red works well with many outfits!
Very very nice. Although I still have to get used to this modern way of styling a skirt. Not having any hips doesn’t make this style easier. But you look very good in it.
Glad you like it Greetje!
You look fab!!! Jodie
thank you Jodie!
I absolutely LOVE this outfit! I like the pattern on the shirt and the cut of the skirt. Really cute!
Thanks Amy. Yes both items have something special, yet are minimal. Just the way I like it!
Great look for all seasons! I’d wear it with boots and a sweater in the cold. Love the red accent. Pretty top.
Yes, I had wanted to wear this with my long brown boots in winter too, but did not get round to it.
I love the way you make your outfits work year round, Sylvia. This is a fantastic skirt. xo
thanks Patti!
I really like this blouse a lot! And your accessories are the perfect pop of color!
thanks Pam. Yes it’s very versatile. Simple yet different!
I totally love this outfit Sylvia – the top is so unusual but compliments the plainer skirt (even tho’ the skirt isn’t that plain!). The red is PERFECT with it – just gorgeous 😀
thanks Petra. Glad you like it!
