A few days ago I showed you the fabulous fashion worn by all the women attending the Sky High fashion lunch. Not only did they come there to enjoy a delicious lunch, they were also treated to some fabulous fashion.
Various fashion brands came together to bring on a show of color, pattern, fun & sophistication. Models came in various shapes, ages and sizes showing a great variety of outfits.
Here are the represented brands:
Stones that Rock
Stones that Rock has been around for nearly 3 years and offers jewelry, mostly with pearls, semi-precious stones and crystals and accented with silver, silk and leather. On the pictures you will see their new Fall 2013 Collection. People can buy STR pieces directly from the owners or a number of small independent fashion stores. Soon they will open their online store as well www.stonesthatrock.com
Ms Ilusion
Ms Ilusion offers a range of curve-friendly fashions for curvy women who find it difficult to get any clothing in their size in Singapore.
The day range is comprised largely of cotton and linen, while the evening range moves into dazzling fabrics and are limited in their availability. The styles have been modelled on classics and current trends. Along with some solids, the line also features lots of colour and print, which Holleigh says “attracts, distracts and hides a lot of sins!”
Owner Holleigh is part of the ‘models’; she is the lady below with the blonde braid on top.
White Ginger
The White Ginger label is all about versatility and style. “The key to everyday dressing is practicality without sacrificing chic and vice versa. After all, the ordinary moments that mark our daily lives (the school run, the supermarket shop ….) don’t have to look ordinary.”
Lots of great wearable clothes as well as sleepwear was shown on this day.
Hats Off
Kathryn Campbell creates delicious hats which will be snapped up by all Australian women here in time for the Melbourne Cup racing day. She can be contacted through camp_dk [at] hotmail. com
Kathryn is one of the ‘models’ in the show; she is the lady with the turquoise dress at the right (top picture).
Desti Saint handbags
Desti Saint creates beautiful handbags in glorious colours and prints. You can read a lot more more about its designer and creator Desti Saint and see more of her bags at this style interview I had with her a while ago.
Fashion shows can be so much fun!
It was great to see how much fun all the ‘models’ were having and how much confidence they exuded in their outfits. This is what more fashion shows should be like! A celebration of fashion with women of all sizes being allowed to express themselves in the clothes.
This lady had the most fun as she came down dancing is her comfy clothes. To see her in full glory, just click on the image!

What a delight to see all shapes and colours in a fashion show.
These gorgeous ladies present the clothes with confidence and a lovely smile. The look great!

I like that they are smiling! I hate the scowling runway look!
