Whenever I’m in Haarlem I love catching up with my friends Greetje, Anja and Saskia and we will do plenty of shopping and plenty of drinking (mostly coffee and tea though!).

For this first outing I opted for a layered look as it was quite chilly in the morning. I’m also wearing both of my gray jackets. They are both thin and unlined so easy to put on or off, as needed. In the picture below I’m wearing both. (outfit details Sylvia: moto jacket, longer jacket, Gap jeans, white top, In Good Company necklace)

I rediscovered my Gap jeans and they have become a favorite here as they are stretchy and comfortable. I hardly ever wear jeans in Singapore but in a country like The Netherlands I find skinnies and jeans very practical and they keep me warm!

Here I’m wearing just the moto jacket.

Saskia is looking fab in this multicolored top that includes her best colors.

There is never really a dull moment with these lovelies around.

Here is another look where I needed lots of layers as it was so cold at the start of my stay in The Netherlands! Wearing both my long sleeved tunic as well as a leather jacket and outer coat. (outfit details: coat from china (tailor made), gifted silk scarf, Stella Carakasi tunic, Cigno Nero leather jacket, Fabrizio Gianni skinnies).

Later in the week the weather picked up and just 2 layers would do. (outfit details Gap jeans, Stella Carakasi knitted top).

And then just one layer! (outfit details: Zara pants, old Stella Carakasi top, Hoegl flats)

Back to cooler weather so jeans and jacket will do the trick. (outfit details: Gap jeans, old top, Massimo Dutti leather jacket, Marc O’Polo sneakers).

Here is Greetje looking fab in blue and green on another day when we went shopping in Amsterdam. I will share details of my own outfit from that day next week!

Do you have a favorite outfit from all the above?
