Staying on the theme of color, I thought I’d show you another outfit I wore in The Netherlands.
I bought this colorful blouse to jazz up my jeans and white pants. This ended up being the perfect outfit for a casual stroll around town.
It’s from a delicious new brand that I discovered Essentiel. Although I couldn’t find this particular piece there is a good selection of Essentiel pieces at Yoox.
Also notice these new shoes from the brand Wolky.
Keen observers of this site will notice that they’re quite similar to my Fly London sandals. As I’ll be travelling the coming months I really wanted to have shoes that are super comfortable to walk on. Although I love my Fly Londons, they are still quite high and more suitable for short city walks.
These ones are lower and even more comfortable and they performed well on their first test walk!
The ‘cool’ factor of these shoes is a little lower than the Fly London ones, but sometimes you just have to sacrifice style for comfort. Not completely though!
I still feel these shoes are hip due to the silver finish and funky soles. I think I will get a lot of mileage out of these ones!
There is a little print mixing going on in this outfit as well with the stripes of this new sunhat.
Getting back on the topic of color, here is how Greetje added a pop of green with this fabulous bag. Adding a little ‘pop’ like this is a great way to make your outfit even more interesting.
