5. But don’t be afraid of color
This is where the modern Scandinavian wardrobe gets much more interesting.

7. Make practical shoes part of the outfit
One thing Scandinavian style does particularly well is proving that comfortable shoes don’t have to spoil a great outfit.

Denim fits perfectly into the practical nature of Scandinavian style.

13. Don’t make everything too perfect
Perhaps the most useful Scandinavian styling lesson is to leave a little room for imperfection.
