What I wore: white and taupe

Kookai pants with alldressedup top

There is almost no other garment I own, that I love more than these white sailor pants from Kookai. They are the perfect pants for Singapore. The pants fit me perfectly at the waist and the legs are wide and flared which is perfect for my slight pear shape. When combined with heels these pants make me look taller and they elongate my legs a lot. They are also perfect for many occasions. I wear them to shows, to the city and to business events.

The only problem I have with these pants is that’s it’s hard to keep them white!

Here the pants are combined with a taupe top from Alldressedup and a leather belt that I bought in Toscany, Italy in one of their lovely towns. The brown wedges I bought in Haarlem, The Netherlands are great as well. They give me the height but are still comfortable to walk in!

I love this top. It hides all the things we like to hide and gives you the best silhouette you can think of. I saw an orange blouse this afternoon in Haarlem, you would die for. Problem with it for me was, as with your taupe top… I cannot wear sleeveless tops anymore. So you enjoy that while you can.

I agree it’s the perfect top for all women that still bear their arms!

I really think this outfit is great, and the belt is perfect! Definitely in my top ten for you, though it so simple it’s just divinely chic and flattering. I’m a year-round white pants wearer, even though my mom still thinks its gauche (if Im using that word correctly). Love to layer white up with creams, grays, off whites and light suede. It makes me feel luxe 🙂

Thanks Jen. Yes, this was a popular outfit (even though it received few comments in those early days as it’s one of the earliest outfits I uploaded). You can never really go wrong with a good top and lovely white pants!
