Outfits for spring: Tops

Outfits for spring - Jacque wears a number of this spring's trends together |

Some of the key trends this spring when it comes to tops are oversized menswear inspired shirts, tie-dye, bold graphic patterns, and florals.

A top can be an easy way to update your closet – as you can simply wear with your jeans to look instantly on-trend. If you opt for the oversized look, think about keeping the rest of your outfit in balance. You could wear with your leggings or skinny jeans, for example.

Jacque (above) chooses a top featuring another of spring’s trends – well-defined shoulders. She teams with a combination of other trends for the upcoming season – beige pants, padded bags, and chain jewelry.

Outfits for spring - Eleanor wears a statement coat |

Designers for spring put a lot of emphasis on the coat – perhaps because so much of the world has been in “lockdown” over the past year and everyone is looking forward to getting out and about again.

Choose a coat in a statement color or with bold patterns. Or, of couse, you could choose classic outerwear such as a neutral blazer.
