Happy to share my birthday with independence day!

4 July Fireworks

Yay, today is my birthday… Or should I say boo… As slowly but surely I’m heading towards 50 now, having turned 46. However, as they say, age is but a number and I feel very much young, alive and kicking.

I’m very happy to share my birthday with independence day in America. The words freedom and independence always have high importance to me and as you know ‘freedom’ is even part of my style statement. I love my many readers and friends in America, so a very happy birthday to you too. I hope you all have lots of fun with all the celebrations!

I have never experienced the 4th of July in America yet, but hopefully someday…. I can imagine it would be a lot of fun!

Happy Birthday Sylvia!
Here in the U.S. your birthday would never be forgotten! I’m alway’s telling people!Your not getting older! But getting better! And your right,it’s only a number!

Thank you Robert!

Happy Birthday – keep up the great work!

Thanks Joe. I will certainly try!

Happy happy birthday!
My stepdaughter is going through a rough time at the moment and I realized the benefits of getting older. All these disappointments, all these broken loves she still have to go through…. Been there, done that. Thank God, I now know who I am, what I want. Lots of experiences have made me wiser and happier.
Wanted to share this with you to show you “aging” in another light.
PS.. As compensation for the wrinkles on my hands, I got diamond rings….LOL

All very true Greetje! Sounds like good compensation too….

Happy birthday! My stepson and his wife just had a baby today! So another 4th of July firecracker enters the world.

Thank you Reeda and congratulations!

A very Happy Birthday to you, Sylvia! And many more!

Happy birthday Sylvia – lovely to be celebrating it in another country, and one so beautiful as Holland – I hope you had a lovely day, and remember, 50 is the youth of old age!!! (I don’t know whether that sounds good or not :-\)

Haha, that’s a great way of phrasing it!
