Style and fashion at the Gnossem Ashley Isham show – What is your favorite look?

by Sylvia

What I wore to the Gnossem F1 Fashion party |

When the Formula 1 racing hits Singapore there are lots of parties being organised. I had the privilege of being invited to the Gnossem F1 Fashion party at the podium lounge.

I had initially planned to wear my blue/green party dress but eventually I felt like a shorter dress. There were going to be lots of young & hip people attending this party which would only start at midnight who would all wear their minis (yes, many did) so I wanted something a bit younger and shorter length.

Although I’m reasonably happy with the look, I also realise why I don’t wear shorter lengths more often as I really don’t care much of the look of my knees.

I took a photographer along and she managed to snap some of the other style on show.

I had a lovely chat with this 50+ couple.

This was a lovely couple from Australia, who had won tickets to the event.

As you can see, lots of people in the house ready to watch the fashion show and dance later on.

The fashion on show was by online store Gnossem, one of Singapore’s best online stores as they stock the wares of lots of independent designers like Toton, Phuong My and Stones that Rock. This evening Gnossem showcased the designs of accomplished Singapore fashion designer Ashley Isham.

It was a lovely party and it’s always great to attend a fashion show as well as admire all the fashion showcased by the people attending. Thanks for the invite Gnossem and hopefully see you again next year!

What is your favorite look from all of the above?

Your green outfit is my fave….it has personality!!!

Gorgeous! I really like your dress, and I the yellow lace sheath is fab. xox

That yellow lace dress is gorgeous and I think the dress you chose is perfect.

It is funny how I don’t see anything wrong with your knees but you do. We all have such skewed internalized opinions of ourselves.

I like what you wore best of all

Belen de bellepoque

I love your shoes

Greetje Kamminga

Yvonne Moiler said it all: you were the best looking woman of everybody. And you know I don’t give my praise lightly. Although lots of women did very well, you are flawless. Forget about your knees, they are beautiful. Everything was right. I will tell you, I had my iPad open on the top photo and Ron commented: “Gosh Sylvia looks nice here, great hair, great dress”. (This is big praise.)
Love the shoes and bag with it.

Oh and of the show…. I wouldn’t mind a belt. If I can still breath then.

I agree with Greetje – you are the most stunning woman there!

Thanks Sylvia, it was fab meeting you that night. 🙂

Thanks for sharing. Sylvia you looked lovely and certainly one of the best dressed women at the event. What fun.

Thanks for the lovely feedback ladies. I think you are all a bit biased towards me haha

I like the short blue and white dress from the fashion show. Something I could see myself wearing.

I loved your green/black outfit the best. The shirt looks like one that would pack well. Where did you find that or something like it? I

I bought this at Vivienne Tam in the sale…

My favorite dresses were yours and the yellow lace sheath.
