Fashion highlights from Blueprint 2012 in Singapore

Blueprint Singapore - emerging designers from around Asia and the world

Yesterday, I visited Blueprint which showcases the pre-Spring 2013 womenswear, menswear and accessories collections of 120 emerging designers from around Asia and the world. It’s a great trade show where many emerging designers are showcasing their collections to buyers. I had a chance to talk to some of the designers and film and photograph some of their presentations which you can see below. Featured designers include DEBB (Seoul), DRESSEDUNDRESSED (Tokyo), evenodd (Singapore),  JUMA (Toronto), Nikicio (Jakarta), Ostwald Helgason (UK) and PU3 (Kuala Lumpur).

Loving this print by Nikicio

I also discovered some wonderful jewelry which I will highlight in upcoming articles, as well as some of the standouts of the show.

You must be having a wonderful time attending these events and seeing so much interesting and new fashion. I am really excited for you! All of your dedication and hard work as a blogger is being rewarded.
I love that first dress at the top of this story – the simple lines, long sleeves, and beautiful print and colors is so attractive. I would happily wear this look. 🙂

It’s fun but also exhausting! I have so much information now that I need sort!
I love that dress too! I also loved the fashion of Ostwald Helgason and a few others not shown here.

Nice. Also watched the video. But I would not have bought anything, nor did I get a good idea. Too young. Oh well, there are more designers.

Some of the looks in the video were too young for us but other items from the collections were actually really nice. I always like to pick the suitable pieces for 40+ women from trendy designers. There was also a lot of beautiful jewelry. Will highlight some of the best for our age group in the coming weeks.

5 Red Tag Chic Los Angeles

I love the printed frocks!
