The yearly Easter parade at 5th Avenue in New York looks like such a fun event. I really hope to go one day. Luckily 40PlusStyle’s photographer Denton Taylor wouldn’t miss it for the world!

Thanks to Advanced Style I discovered that the lady below is Roller Arnea, more often referred to as Rollerena. According to this article she is a drag queen legend. She sped about the city in the ’70s and ’80s on roller skates scattering her wisdom and wisecracks. She continues to be a yearly highlight (now without the skates) at the Easter Parade.
