Casual clothes I recently wore

Alldressedup jersey top and zara plated skirt

Here are some casual outfits I wore lately. By coincidence 2 of these outfits are a combination of 2 of my favorite brands. The outfit on top features one of my first purchases at Alldressedup. It’s a fun t-shirt that has quite a complicated construction. Front and back have a different color and at the top the shirt has several straps in different colors. It’s a great t-shirt; my only concern is that I bought it a big too big. It is worn with an a-line skirt, which is a shape of skirt that I have long favored. Although pencil skirts are all the rage now, I’m still more confortable in a-skirt  which are great for my slightly pear shape body type. Shoes are from Calvin Klein and necklace is from Dutch designer Frans van Berkel.

This is another Alldressedup top that I bought in the sales. I love that color pink although I concede that it may be a little too pale for me. As you know I like to combine solid colors, so this fun multicolored belt is a great way to add some extra colors and fun. A-line skirt is again from Zara.

casual pants and t-shirt

Very casual outfit for a trip to the Forest Adventure here in Singapore, where I had to climb trees, walk over wobbly obstacles and swing of a tree like tarzan. The outfit passed the test and with this funky t-shirt, I still looked a little bit stylish too. Pants are from Esprit. Can’t read the label of the t-shirt. Hat from a local market and watch from Pierre Junod.

How do you wear casual clothes? Are you more of a casual dresser or do you like to dress up?

You look fresh and chic in all the outfits but the middle one is my fave! LOVE the pink, the way the top is cut- and that madras obi is something I need in my life. LOVELY, Sylvia, just lovely!

2 Sylvia

Yes it’s a fun top. Not always so practical… (bra issues!)

3 Suzanne

You are so cute! I adore those Calvin Klein sandals in the first outfit. I own over 100 pairs of shoes/boots. 🙂
I love to dress-up but my lifestyle is more casual. That does not mean I have to be in plain tees and jeans though. I like to wear unusual tops like the ones you are wearing here or colorful pants or skirts. I pay close attention to my outerwear and accessories too. You can be appropriate for the weather and event and still look stylish.

Yes those sandals were a good find. Got them in the sale! Wow over 100! Where do you store them all?! Some of my boots coming up soon…..

Love what looks like the peach and grey color combo in the first pic!
Love all your outfits–they have a bit of fashion edge to them–which I love.
I like to dress up a bit…

Thanks Paula. Yes, I love the new and the quirky and the fashionable. I get seduced by new ideas 🙂

I love that top in the second picture- so flattering on you! Also, you have great accessories- I love the ring in your first outfit 🙂

It’s a fun ring, isn’t it. My 9 year old son picket it out for me for my birthday!

He’s got great taste! 🙂

Mmmm we’ll see about that. Perhaps in jewelry. As for clothes he is not interested one bit and matches the weirdest things with one another..

11 The Style Crone

Every outfit has a touch of interesting and unique detail. The hat in the third photo is perfect with your t-shirt. Detail is the spice!

Any chance I get, I wear a hat now Judith. Unfortunately, have not been able to hit the shops just yet to get a few more stylish ones……
