One of the trends I highlighted in my spring 2013 trend report is the arty trend. Although I don’t really see the arty asymmetric looks as a trend but rather as a timeless style that will add an extra dimension to your outfit.

Isn’t colour just the most wonderful thing?  Doesn’t a place look that much nicer when you add a bit of colour?

Colour can also really influence your mood. And as such you can use it as a tool to influence it. We tend to pick our clothes each morning for the mood that we are in. If I am feeling particularly happy I will normally choose something colourful to wear. And if I”m feeling a bit down, I will probably want to hide a bit from the world and would go for something black.

Cropped trousers are dominating the shops. They did so for winter and signs indicate that they will do so for summer. This has resulted in many of you wearing them even when, in my opinion, some of you should not. best of new york fashion week for women over 40

The first week of Fall  2013 fashion shows is now behind us and New York has made way for London, whose fashion shows are now in full swing.
