A few notes on what has been happening this week. I have been pinning quite a lot of my favorite looks, so if you’re not following me on Pinterest yet, be sure to do so!

I have also setup an Instagram account for 40PlusStyle, so be sure to check that out and follow me as well. I’m actually currently participating in the February Photo a day challenge, just for fun.

I will also try and snap everything that inspires me on a daily basis.

I have also been writing a guest post for Aging Abundantly on how to get your style groove back.

Jeannie of Gracefully 50 was very kind to give me a versatile blogger award. Thank you so much Jeannie!

2 of my posts were featured on Independent Fashion bloggers. My post on what to wear to the Oscars and How to wear Orange. The latter was featured in their weekly Links a la Mode, so be sure to check out some of the other featured bloggers below.

Have a great weekend everybody. Why not come and say hi on my Facebook page and let me know what you’re up to?

THE IFB WEEKLY ROUNDUP: LINKS À LA MODE: FEBRUARY 2ND

Stylish Beauty

Edited by: Meghan Donovan of WIT & Whimsy

One thing I’ve always practiced is the belief that fashion and beauty go hand in hand. I blog about makeup and skincare sometimes just as much as fashion and believe beauty balances or emphasises a look. This week’s Links a la Mode showcase that many other IFB bloggers out there believe the same. So this week, take notes, there’s lots to learn from the following posts.

SPONSOR:

New at ShopbopALC, Enza Costa tops, A Peace Treaty, BB Dakota, Noir, Mania Mania, Theodora & Callum, Phillip Lim, Prism Sunglasses, Blue Life, Raoul , James Perse & Reem Acra Dresses

Congratulations Sylvia! Your “Aging Abundantly” article is great and I love the “Links a la Mode” posts. So much information and all very interesting. :) Thanks for sharing. I can’t wait to see the Halston Documentary and I hope there are many Elie Saab gowns on the Oscar’s red carpet.

Thanks Suzanne. I’m still rooting for a green Armani Prive dress. Somebody wil HAVE to wear that color green this year!
