Can I still wear this? Sylvia says that leather will be the thing next winter.
I still have this old skirt. How do I update it? Or is it really past it anyway?
Please give me honest advice.

I will have a look for a wide short top. Must have some of those, but perhaps not in the right colour. Ah... Just learned something from one of your blog links.... I will purchase a neon coloured chuncky necklace, that will spice things up as well. Thanks for all your work. I am learning every day.

I have a white lace-like wide top. I'll try that. And I have had an earlier advice on this shirt to put boots underneath them instead of pumps. Does it look too formal with pumps?

It will be interesting to see this skirt with a short wide top and (ankle) high boots. Like Nanne says it will give the outfit a different and will make it slightly hipper imo.

As soon as I have found a different combination, I will add a photo.

Thank you Mistygreen. Still haven't found the right top for it yet, apart from a red jacket and a creme wrap blouse, which were the things I bought with the skirt. But I am sure I will find something beginning of this winter to update it.

I was not aware that I changed my style, but perhaps you are right. The long leather skirt fits nicely in this A/W fashion so I am glad I never threw it out.

Ah.. girls... this leather skirt was amongst my failures with my big black sweater on my blog on the 11th of December. Still have not found anything to suit it. Only my short red jacket would do fine. But I bought it like that many many years ago and I wanted to update it to 2012. If I wear a wide sweater over it (= 2012) it looks so stupid. It wasn't just the big black sweater I think that made the look fail.
