Never thought it would suit me until I tried one on for fun: BOYFRIEND jeans. Now I adore them. You don't feel you are wearing them.
It works best with high heels and 7/8 length trousers (green jacket, white jeans, brown shoes and belt). But also with low heeled boots (black and white). And long length boyfriend jeans (with light coloured jacket).
Question is: do you need length for this fashion item? I think not, but I am not sure.

Boyfriend jeans can look good on many women but look best when you wear something dressier on top as you do. For wearing it at 7/8 length you would definitely need some length though. Or have long legs. Your tops are great. Very nice green jacket, with fabulous necklace. And I love that black and white sweater and white jacket too!

First of all, you look great! I recently wore my boyfriend jeans to work for the first time(very casual dresscode) paired with ancle boots, a classic V-neck sweater and a blazer. I'm short and curvy, but I actually tought that I looked slimmer wearing these slighly loose fitting jeans, at least combined with heels. I think that most women can wear boyfriend jeans, it's about finding the right fit as with everything else. And if you're on the shorter side as I am, they probably look better cuffed and with heels.

I agree with Nanne. I love boyfriend jeans (all jeans!) but I wear mine in the summer, rolled up and with my highest wedges - often with ribbons or ankle straps. I am short and this is the way they look best. Plus - it shows off the shoes and it is always about the shoes. :)

Suzanne, wouldn't you look taller with shoes without ankle straps? Just pumps that elongate your legs? Or is that a mith?

Greetje - I know that stylists say anything around the ankle "cuts" the length of the leg but I adore shoes with ankle wraps so I wear them. My legs are thin and long for my height (long legs, short torso) and I wear size 0 or 2 pants and a size 4.5 or 5 shoes so that helps. Plus, the larger wedge (they are 3 or 4 inches) tilts my foot in a way that lengthens the look too. But maybe these are just the things I tell myself so I can wear my favorite shoes!

Ha ha I know what you are saying. We are so good in finding reasons why. Especially for buying things... why it is absolutely necessary to buy this top because......
