Shoe shopping: my favorite shoes online now

by Sylvia

best shoes

I did quite a bit of ‘research’ the last few weeks to find you all the best flat and mid heel shoes available online today.

Since I did not feature them all on the site, I thought I would share all my selections with you in case you are still looking for those perfect shoes!

Since I focussed on designer shoes for the articles, I realise that a lot of these are quite pricey, but there are a few more affordable ones as well.

Use as inspiration or enjoy your shopping.

Please note that RSS subscribers reading this through their readers, will need to click through and read the article online to see all the shoes.

Which are your favorites from this list?

So many cute shoes! You know I love the nude Alexander Wang’s with the high ankle wrap. I also like the orange Casadei pumps, the pink & black Isa Tapia kitten heels, and the multi-colored snakeskin Loeffler Randall flats.
Have you seen the Ralph Lauren runway yet? It is very nautical and the sailor pants are perfect for you. Even Ralph was wearing them! :)

Yes, just watched. The sailor pants are indeed perfect but the rest is so dark. I even found it a bit old fashioned… Off to watch some more shows…

But we still have London, Paris, and Milan! And Miuccia usually does not disappoint us. :)

Sylvia – Let me know what you think of the Marc Jacobs runway. I do not hate it – but I do not get the pajamas or the no pants looks. I like the shine and sparkle and the hair and make-up though.
It really makes a difference if you can see the shows “walk” and not just look at pictures. I have seen a video of Michael Kors (really fun!). Ralph Lauren (the company, not the man) sent me a 15 minute video of their runway and I am so in love! I would wear the white ruffled blouses with the black ties and the high-waist buttoned pants, there is a long black embroidered coat that is perfection, and next Holiday Season I want a pair of those Russian velvet pants instead of a dress. I love the boots, and the tapestry bags, and the little caps too.
Now that New York is over the consensus is it was a lot of fur, a lot of leather, and a lot of “Klein” blue – which is a cobalt. To me the runways were black and gray. On to Europe!

Did not like Marc Jacobs much at all. We had the pyjama pants last season already and I was not waiting for pyjama jackets as well. Also way too much fur, which is true for the whole of NYFW. I’m hoping for more creativity, wearable (flattering) clothes and colour from Europe!

What a great collection! The first that grabbed me were the Carven tapestry flats (so pretty and unusual) and the Jimmy Choo suede and cork strappy wedge sandals. I’ve always liked fisherman sandals, too, so the Jeffrey Campbell white mock-snake skin sandals are fun. I’d have to try them on though to see if they would be too white. I haven’t had a pair of really white shoes in years (except for sneakers, and they don’t stay white for long!). Oh, and the Oscar de la Renta slingbacks…just perfect! I tried on a pair of de la Renta d’orsay kitten heeled pumps in gray flannel with black embroidery this fall and they were just dreamy. I was stalking them for the last call sale, but they sold out of my size. Rats!

That was unlucky Rita. Hopefully you will be able to pick up some beauties this year. I love white sandals and mine need replacing. I should add it to my wish list!

Um…do I have to limit myself to just one or two? That black and white oxford is THE BUSINESS, and I WILL be following that up. The silver flat sandal with the ankle strap is also a contender….as is the zig zag mid heel pump….I’ve added you to my Bloglovin feed…don’t know why it took me so long to find you. Thanks for a great read!

What a great collection of shoes styles, prices, designers, colors and shapes!
You did a lot of research and it probably took you a long time and for all that time and effort; I thank you.

Thanks for all the work Sylvia. Great collection.
I so wanted to buy the silver Oxford shoes with the yellow laces (bottom right). But they were sold out in my size.

This is strange.. half my comment is not showing. I also said I liked the Alexander Wang nude sandals with the high ankle strap (as Suzanne also does). But I wanted them in black for half the price as they as too expensive for my salary.

Yes, they are pricey… Who knows.. Perhaps they go on sale later this season…

By the way I noticed they are sold at Neiman Marcus as well, although I don’t know if they have your size or if they ship to Holland: http://beso.ly/rd/4626008911?a=499747&p=1

No, not to The Netherlands. I thought of using those companies who can be your USA post address, but that is taking up too much time and it is getting expensive.

Wow. Did I just convert you to flat Oxford shoes? I’m impressed! (such a pity they are sold out…)

I know.. I saw those before on a very stylish blogger and fell in love but could bot find them online. Or did not have the time to search. Now I tried a bit harder but they were sold out everywhere. Oh well…there will be other shoes. Mind you, I did see them in gold as well…….

The “zebra” Robert Clergerie makes my mouth water! :-) But I can not buy online, trying is essential no matter what garment I’m buying. Could be a “cheap” T-shirt. If it doesn’t fit or feel good it’s still expensive.
